I use oxygen through a nasal cannula and my nose gets very dry and often bleeds. Members in my support group have mentioned this emollient, Ponaris, as being very helpful. After ordering, I tried using it several times, but not according to directions. Putting drops in nasal passages can lead to something called lipid pneumonia, so I just used a Q-tip and gently coated the area just inside my nasal passages. I found it not to be as effective as I was hoping, although I do like the fragrance. I would caution anyone who uses this to speak with your doctor first, as it could be very dangerous if not used correctly.
