This works well in that you can see inside the ear. (I bought this for my baby who was prone to ear infections for a bit.) It comes in nice case and you can adjust the sizes (of the cones), so you can use it from child to adult. My one complaint is that the light is a bit touchy. If I don't get it just right or move it, the light sometimes goes out and I kind of have to tap it back on. Not a big deal, except when you're trying to use it with a squirming child. If I had to do it again, I might shop around a bit. But that's not to say it would be off my list entirely. I would just look more closely at the other options.Customer Review: medical doctor

product is good but I have problem with the company.I bought 3 scopes directly from the comapany last year ,one of them is not working.I e-mailed them to help me with their life time warranty and they never even replied,hence I bought throgh you Amazon in case I have a problem.I do not trust them

Get one with an adjustable focus. You never know how far your going to be able to put it in the ear. I have used the one at the Docs office with much better results.I have this unit and I gave up trying to use it but i think the concept of being able to check YOUR OWN BABIES ears for infection is INVALUABLE.Customer Review: Lacks quality

Lens frame appeared to be cracked by mounting screw. The switch had a "dead" spot in it where the light would not work. The connection from the light to the body (Handle) seemed a bit loose and insecure. Basically was not the quality I expected for the money.Customer Review: Defective Product
