I was in the market for a Skeleton because I was in the process of studying for one of my Anatomy I bone tests and was finding it difficult to study without a skeleton in front of me to look at. After searching through Amazon and looking at several of the skeletons available, I chose this one and I am very happy with my choice. Yes, it is a little more expensive then a few of the other ones, but the detail on it is much better then a basic run of the mill skeleton. It has condyles, trocanters, sockets and hinges that you wouldn't see on a $20 skeleton. If you are purchasing this to study with, it should do you well, BUT don't expect this to be as detailed as the models you use in your labs. While detailed for it's price range, it's still not 100% complete with all the bone additions.
If it's any indication, I ended up getting an A on the test, so this did it's job. I'll be holding onto it for future tests and classes as well!

This 25 1/2" budget painted skeleton has muscle insertions and origins painted on the left side of the skeleton and numbers of important features on the right side.
