Customer Review: Prevents diaper rash

I originally started using the diapers that the hospital, in which my daughter was born, used. These were the regular Pampers Swaddlers. When I wanted to order the size 1s in bulk via Amazon, I could only find the sensitive Pampers Swaddlers. So, I decided to try them. As one reviewer pointed out, the sensitive ones have a stripe that changes color when the diaper becomes wet, which does help determine if my baby has peed when she has peed only a little bit. I can always tell when my daughter has a poop or a big pee because the diaper is very heavy (plus the poop is just obvious). But, the change in stripe color has helped me learn that my baby is very sensitive to even a slightly wet diaper. More importantly to me, the sensitive diapers help prevent diaper rash. With the regular Pampers Swaddlers, my daughter often required Desitin for diaper rash. However, since I started to use the Sensitive ones, my daughter rarely has a diaper rash. At this time, I will continue to use only the Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive diapers.Customer Review: First time Mom here

I switched from Huggies to Pampers because I was getting a lot of blow-outs!
Love how soft these are, and as long as I get to the messy bottom pretty quickly, it's all good.
I'd read some reviews about a chemical smell. Well, I take them out of the packet long before I need to use them (put them in a little basket) and I haven't had a problem. If I don't change my daughter in the middle of then night, the urine/diaper smell is quite powerful, but I don't experience that during the day. Getting close to the upper weight (12.5 lbs), I find they are very snug on her tummy, so I'm trying to rush through the remainder of a box so that I can move on to size 2.
They were cheaper here than [...] and with free delivery, how can you go wrong!

These diapers are easy to use (color changing wetness indicator is a godsend), have excellent leak protection, and do not
irritate baby at all. We used to use Earth's Best - a waste of time and very leaky - and have also tried Huggies Snugglers (got in the hospital), which are a close second to these. I agree with the other reviewer who said their Velcro tabs are better, but its truly immaterial overall. I also recommend the Pampers Sensitive wipes. We bought more than a case of the Earth's Best before baby was born and, somehow, he hates them. Cries. Sensitive wipes (got in the hospital) are very nice.

I have loved the Pampers-brand diapers since our little one was born. I especially like the ones that have the little yellow line that turns green when your baby's diaper is wet. Each line of Pampers has been great though, all are soft and seem like they would be very comfortable. We have received other brands as gifts, but the Pampers far exceed both of them. I actually threw out the Luvs, they were awful. I think more poop came OUT of the diaper than got caught inside it! And Huggies are OK, but feel more papery and uncomfortable. Also, they don't lay as flat and compact as the Pampers.Customer Review: Great diapers

I love these diapers and have been using them for over two months. The stripe is great at letting me know when my baby is wet, eliminating the need to disturb him in order to check. These diapers generally keep my baby dry, except at night (I use Pampers 12 hour diapers overnight, which are great). So far (knock on wood), they have kept the contents of soiled diapers from getting on his clothing/body. I am hoping that continues... My baby has sensitive skin and he has had no rashes or irritation from these diapers. Amazon's price through its Mom program is excellent, too.
