They changed the tops of the individual wipe packaging so I can't open it without having to put it in a container. I liked being able to just open the package. Otherwise I like these wipes better than the huggies as they seem to get the goo off better.Customer Review: Not Worth The Extra Money

I'm an adult and I use baby wipes. Why? Because no one wants a nasty butt. Believe me, try using baby wipes in addition to your regular toilet paper. You'll never go back to just toilet paper alone.
Anyways, on to the product review.
First, the packaging: There's the "pull up" tissue-box-type lid that snaps down, but it's impossible to close the lid with one hand and even when you do part of the wipe that's ready to be used next time is always sticking out.
Because part of that wipe is sticking out it acts as a wick so all the cleansing moisture from half or more that wipe dries out, depending on how long it is between when you use the wipes, which results in one wasted wipe. This means you have to pull that one out and throw it away then pull out another one to get the full effectiveness of a damp wipe, which means you only get half the use out of a pack of wipes.
Alternatively, you could open the top of the box, but that requires two hands, and then also you have to stick one hand into the box to hold down the wipe the wipe you're pulling out is attached to, which is unsanitary.
Maybe it's because I'm a guy but I find the packaging to be frustrating and counter-intuitive.
Next, the wipes themselves:
They don't seem to be any thicker or larger than the less expensive regular wipes. Twenty percent thicker? HOLY CRAP! What's twenty percent of one millimeter? That's .2 of a millimeter. That's the thickness of a layer of frost on your car windshield. So instead of 1 millimeter thick material you're getting 1.2 millimeter material. Is that worth a buck fifty to you?

With Amazons new 30% disount on "subscribe and save" wipes and diapers I broke down and bought these marked up baby wipes here. With the discount I end up paying about the same as the local chain toy store and I don't have to take my two year old with me and inevitably leave with a toy purchase. Don't get me wrong I do love these wipes however the order I received does not have re-sealable packages. This is an absolute must in my book. Once you open the package the wipes dry out within days. Its fine if you plan on carrying around a big plastic tote of wipes wherever you go but I much prefer to simply stash the packages in the car, diaper bag etc. I've purchased Swipers many of time and they have had the re-sealable packages. I would assume this is a packaging problem on Pampers end but ultimately Amazon is the one who loses my business for this product.

These wipes are fine - nothing special. What is VERY annoying though, is that pampers cleverly has packaged them in packs of 60 rather than the usual 77. So if you are a sleep deprived mom, looking for a new wipe that works better, you might just buy a case of these and then realize that something is up when you've gone through the entire case in less than a week! Very clever pampers!
