This clipper is phenomenal. I bought it several years ago to begin cutting my own hair, and it slices right through it. I have very thick hair that has always been a bit tough to cut for barbers and hair stylists, but this thing is great. It will slice through my hair (with a #2 attachment) the first time, every time. Like I said, I've had this for several years now. Absolutely a ridiculous clipper. Though due to it's lack of rubber grips and its small weight, it's tough to hold and not let slip out of your hand. If you drop it, like I did, the blade will break. Not the titanium/steel/ceramic parts, the plastic ones. You'll then have to buy a new blade at about $50-70. But as long as you take care of it, the battery and overall performance is superior compared to other clippers. The fact that it is rechargeable and Panasonic, and so easy to use, with a 90-day guarantee at Sally's Beauty Supply is why I bought it. Panasonic gives a 30-day guarantee. I'm very happy with it, though I wish they'd make it easier to grip. A fantastic clipper that is so ergonomic and precise, that it can be used to trim and shape beards. In fact, it has the dimensions of a trimmer, not a hair clipper. No question, you'll be happy with it. I showed it to a friend's dad who is a barber and he was amazed by it. It's that much better than Osters, Andis's, Wahl's and whatever else is out there in porfessional barber shops/salons, but more practical for home use. It's more expensive, but imo, well worth it. Hands-down, the best clipper out there.

The height adjustment control dial allows you to adjust cutting lengths quickly and easily. Choose 1/2, 3/8, 1/4 or 3/16-inch cutting length comb attachments for perfect clipping and trimming of your hair. The trimmer can be used in corded mode or charge up the battery for eight hours to use for 55 minutes in cordless mode. Cutting length is 0.03-0.79 inch with 5 steps.
