I saw all the reviews praising this trimmer and I wondered if it really needed one more. This is my third trimmer and I'm VERY happy with it. I'm NOT happy about throwing my old one away because the batteries are not changeable. Seems like a big waste. I'll probably buy #4 when this dies on me. I think my old one lasted about four years. I have been using this trimmer for 20 years, I am a hairstylist, have used many trimmers, and this is the best, it lasts the longest, easy to use (cordless) and charge, I just hope they never discontinue this trimmer, I have had them last for 3 years, when they dont charge anymore or the blade gets dull, I just buy a new one, because the price is so reasonable.

I had this model for seven years before it broke down, and I didn't even take care of it that well. So, it was an easy decision to buy it again. Highly recommended if you have a problem with in-grown hair on your face. It also gives a good-enough close shave. But durability and ease of use are the trademark of this product. I love this trimmer. I bought one of these 5-6 yrs ago, and wore it out. I have tried others, but they didn't cut smoothly. This one is great. It doesn't catch and pull on the whiskers as it cuts. It's simple, but effective. I searched out this same model, and found it available and a great buy on Amazon. I am new to electric shaving. This is my first full beard. I read all the reviews for this and competing products and the ER389K sounded the best for the most customers. I received it in a few days from Amazon and love it. It is simple, easy to use. It has no wires, keeps my bathroom uncluttered. It does the job and at reasonable price.
