Customer Review: My nose hair is gone, and I approve

This is the only nose hair trimmer I have ever used or owned. That said, I found that it worked basically exactly as expected: I removed my visible nose hair neatly and 100% painlessly.
Installing a single battery was easy. I've used the trimmer several times over the last month and a half with no noticeable sign of the battery running down.
Two criticisms: first, it takes some persistence to get the last stubborn hairs. However, what the design prevents in speed and pin-point precision it makes up in safety. I have no worries at all about cutting the inside of my nose. (I have only used the trimmer on my ears.) Second, the light is mounted partway back from the tip of the business end. It's not really useful, but it's not really necessary.
Again, I haven't used any other nose hair trimmer, but I can't imagine paying any more than I paid for this one -- it does exactly what I wanted.

This is a product that does what it promises...and more! The Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted really can handle the tough jobs, believe me: I am a tough job. I wish you could all see a before picture of me. Andy Rooney looked like Leonardo Dicaprio next to me (at least in terms of unwanted facial hair). Perhaps it's the fact that I've been living as a hermit for the past two years in a remote mountain region of British Colombia, Canada, but my ear and nose hair was overgrown, and as one little boy I passed in the street described it, "bushy". When I first used this product though, the Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted, I became a new man--reborn, rejuvenated. Women find me attractive--well, at least one does; I am recently engaged--and I have a new confidence that I didn't have before.

Customer Review: Finally, one that works well !!!

I saw this kind of trimmer -- same basic design -- at Bed Bath and Beyond several years ago. The would work in a very mediocre way, and then something would break or give out. Often it seemed like it wasn't doing anything -- I would use it and it took a long time before I saw results and it seemed to be hit and miss regarding if it cut the intended hairs or not.
Well, I am overjoyed (yes I do need to get out more !) with these. They cut well, cleanly, everything I expected from a cutter of this kind. I have no use for the light nor do I know how it could be used other than what one poster said to examine the area after the fact, which would be a valid use for it -- my bathroom is well lighted so it's not a factor for me.
It works well, it works quickly, it works clearly, it will make your life more efficient, and simple.

I purchased the Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted about a year ago and love it! I used to use scissors and occasionally a razor to get a really clean look on my ears and nose. I always inevitably ended up cutting myself and bleeding. It also took forever.
Now, with this Panasonic trimmer, it's easy to use everyday if need be. There is no pulling (and unimaginable pain) of hair like I worried there would be. It is also convenient to be wet/dry as I don't have to worry about getting a shock when I use it right out of the shower.
As for the light -it is not too useful while you are trimming, but is useful when you need to check your work.
In addition, the head is removable for easy cleaning.
This trimmer is a must own for every man.

I tried three others before this one and did not like any of them. They pinched, pulled and in general did a poor job. Then I bought this model.......about 4 years ago. I worked like a charm. Cuts well without cutting you. Never pulled, pinched, or cut me. Used it without one single problem for about 4 years and then it just died. I could not find another one locally so I searched the web. Found it again here and it felt like finding an old friend. Ordered it and the service was quick, as 3 days later it was in my hands trimming my nose and ear hair again. I've had it for a few weeks and it works well. I expect a repeat performance of the first one. My only issue is that it may not be available in 4 years when I need a new one, so I am thinking of getting a spare. This item is a definite recommend!
