I admit I have nothing to compare this product to, having never owned such a device before. But when I noticed that I was beginning to cultivate a sizeable crop of ear and nose hair, I knew I needed to do something. The good news is, this thing works well. It gets extra points for surviving a drop to my bathroom floor one morning when I was less wide awake than would have been ideal. Had a Remington which only lasted so long, then did some research and the Panasonic ER421KC came out on top. The Remington was slow by comparison to the Panasonic. The Panasonic does not pull as you're not aware of it's cutting the nose hairs. It's a great product. I intend to buy another one and Amazon has the lowest price. This nose hair Trimmer is almost perfect. I've been through quite a few nose trimmers. You would think I have nose hair growing to my toes, but I don't.....I'm just particular when it comes to this topic. The trimmer does what it should. It's a very close shave. wow, the detail over such a little thing. Look, it works great. does the job... no complaints and a hell of a lot better than the crappy ones i got drug stores branded with the name 'conair'. those really stunk. The quality difference is night and day.
And, the light: you aren't supposed to use the light WHILE you are using it. It's for inspection before and after.

This has got to be the best, most well designed nose trimmer on the market!
I had a previous trimmer but it wasn't ideally designed for just the nose
as it was an 'EAR and Nose' trimmer.This trimmer is perfect for getting rid
of unsightly nose hairs....and makes a great gift for Grandad! My only
complaint is: the light. It's absolutely useless.
