I had an earlier model of this same product. I liked the product and when it finally gave out after years of service, I had a hard time finding another one.
Just by chance, I was bale to find the newer version on Amazon.com. With no hesitation, I ordered it. The new model is just as good as the older version. No problems.

I have high praise for the Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted. I like Panasonic products to begin with but this trimmer is outstanding for its quiet operation and the light helps locate areas needing trimming. Never before this product have I had a thorough trimming of my nose and ears hairs. I highly recommend this product for adult males.Customer Review: amazing trimmer

i had the early model it had a straight cutter and was all right but took sometime to get all the hairs probably still would be useing it but i dropped it and would not work. so i searched the internet for a new one and settled on the panasonic er421kc bought it and was glad i did man that rotary cutter gets the nose and ear hairs in no time. buy one you wont be sorry.Customer Review: very happy with it - third time is a charm!

This is the third (different) trimmer I have owned, and I like this one far better than the others. It is comfortable and convenient to use. The motor seems substantial and it operates with standard batteries. I like the fact that you don't need to be staring yourself in the mirror to use it. Just use it wherever/whenever is convenient. This one is the best I've found so far and I've tried most of them including The Sharper Image. This does the job over and over again and fast.
The only thing unnecessary is the light which really doesn't have the proper aim, (unless I'm using it wrong) and I never do need it so the next one I buy, I won't pay the extra for the light. Otherwise its perfect.
