Customer Review: One of the greatest things ever made!! The perfect trimmer.

I've spent decades leaning over the sink with a bad lower back, trying to get close enough to the mirror in the bathroom to be able to see and have a go at my rain forest of nose hairs. It was something like a weekly torture session. And then, of course, would come the inevitable attempt to clip everything faster, without injury (and not always successfully), to save my back and so forth. Just a living hell every week or so.
So, I finally, finally started looking into a mechanical trimmer. I put it off for many years, because the thought of actually putting something mechanical up my nose was not appealing. Many years ago someone had given me a non-electric nose hair trimmer, one of those self turn-em jobs (all it did was rip out hairs and give me a lot of pain). So, I read all sorts of reviews here about these electric trimmers. I looked up everything I could online. I settled on this, the Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Facial Hair Trimmer. And man, I am so glad I did.
When I first got it, I was as leery as you can imagine. I tried it slowly at first, concerned it was going to hurt, pull hairs, sting, etc., IT DID NOT! At first I used it so lightly and with such trepidation I was sort of tickling myself. But eventually, I learned it wasn't going to hurt me. Now I have just been jamming it into my nose at all sorts of angles, doing whatever I need to to cut this lawn in my nose. I can press it as hard as I want and I don't feel a thing being pulled or hurt! Just a ZIPPPP and its all gone. I have some very difficult places up in my nose where some hairs grow, and it doesn't matter. This thing is safe to push around, push into the skin, push into the side of the nose, etc., and NO PAIN!!!!! And it seems to suck up the loose hair pretty good. Is it perfect? Depends on how much of a perfectionist you are about this I guess, and also it depends on just how your nose hairs themselves grow. As for me, I usually find a few left over hairs, I take a couple seconds to clip them by hand scissor, go over everything and make sure I have every last one. Some people might not choose to take it this far, or to clip their hairs down that low. But whatever. This trimmer is exceptional. It has saved me from a weekly hell on earth.
I also mounted a mirror to a wall in my bathroom, with no sink or anything in front of it, and I got this little dual movable armature thing from a hardware store, I rubber-banded pen lights onto the two arms, and now I can see up my nose very easy for any final trim sessions.
I'm not one for tears, but I could have cried in joy when I found out the kind of pain and hassle this wonderful Panasonic trimmer had taken out of my life. I'm also suffering from inherited polycystic kidney disease which results in overtly large painful kidneys (I'm 39 years old in case you are curious). So between my lower back problems, and my kidney problems, I'm very serious about this review and just what this trimmer has done for my life. I can't thank the people enough that made it. And, because I did not want to have to hear someday that "oh, they stopped making that model of trimmer" I even bought a spare one, just in case.
