I was disappointed with this shaver. The buzzing noise is too loud and too high pitched. It does give a decent shave but not great on neck hair. The built-in trimmer is at an awkward angle and sometimes "bites". I put it in a drawer. I am Delighted with the shaver I bought to it - the Phillips Norelco 1150x/1140. The Phillips is quieter, more comfortable and less expensive. Some reviewers did not like the Phillips trimmer because the shaver head has to be removed and replaced by the snap-on trimmer. I don't mind that at all - because it works great, it's easy to change heads, and it doesn't "bite". It's also a wet/dry shaver that can be used in the shower.Customer Review: Good Shave, I get at least 2 good shaves out of a Charge

This is a very sleek, fairly quiet and lightweight electric shaver. It runs off the battery so when the battery runs out it won't operate plugged in and the battery has to be fully recharged to keep the motor running at top RPM. I get at least 2 full shaves from a fully charged battery and if I am really lucky 2-1/2. Granted my old ES8068 is quite a bit heavier, makes a lot more noise, it's 10 years old and cost new 3 times as much as the ESGA21 but it still to this day stays charged for a full week of shaves. I would still recommend a Panasonic shaver however a little more research than what I put in might be a wise decision to make.
