Customer Review: Stick with a straight razor!

I bought this product and even though I was supposed to give it a month to allow my skin to get used to switching from a straight edge, all the reviews I had read and even comments from the manufacturer's website suggested there would be minimal transition from straight edge to this razor. In the first three weeks I used this razor I had a rash all over my face and it constantly left hairs behind (it didn't matter how long I shaved for those same hairs never got picked up). Then, the last straw was when I went to replace the cleaning cartridge on the cleaning system but the status light never went off. I got there customer service on the line who went through a series of fixes with me over the phone and then decided I have a bad unit and should send it in. Instead I decided I was going to return it and the cartridges I had just bought. I spoke to an Amazon representative who said I could get my money back on the razor and the replacement cartridges but I only received a refund on the razor. Then I shaved with my old Gilette Fusion and had the best shave in weeks. For me this was a horrible horrible product!Customer Review: PIECE OF JUNK

I purchased this shaver to replace my Braun a month and a half ago and it BROKE. Since it was after 30 days from purchase, I got to deal with the lovely people at Panasonic who told me to ship it back, wait (they wouldn't say how long) and then MAYBE they will send me back the same model. I guess Panasonic doesn't give much regard to the word guarantee. Obviously, this is a frustrating situation since, like everyone else, I typically use my shaver every day. You would think that a $400 MSRP shaver would not break in a few weeks, but then again you would also think that the company that makes that type of high-end product would have decent customer service too. It's too bad--the shave I got from this razor was really good when it worked. That being said, if I had it to do over I would not gamble on buying this shaver again, especially knowing that Panasonic doesn't stand behind their products.Customer Review: Junk

I have only had this shaver for about 2 weeks when the Charger/Cleaner System started flashing red and stopped working. Sent it to the Panasonic Service Repair Center and they confirmed that the unit needs replacement which will take almost 2 months. The shaver works fine but the Charger/Cleaner unit is absolute junk and even worse is Panasonic Service. This is a lot of money for something that only works for 2 weeks.Customer Review: Terrible Electric razor

No matter how much I cleaned the unit I kept getting the red light error message. Tossed razor in garbage and I would never reorder. Junk. OK shave but Braun better.
