This is an excellent product as far as electric razors go. I had recently purchased a Remington razor for $40. I returned it a few weeks later, as it didn't work very well. I had to go over the same spot several times just to get all the hair. This razor, for about half the price, works much better and works with just one pass. Electric shavers don't necessarily get a razor-close shave, but this electric shaver gives a nice close shave. The same day I shave with it, my boyfriend thinks my legs are as smooth as a razor-shave. There is stubble by the next day, but just a few minutes with this shaver makes my legs as good as smooth again.
Many people complain about how you have to charge this shaver. I like it much better than the corded razor, it takes up less space and is out of the way when charging. You just have to keep in mind that all you have to do to keep the shaver tightly on the base is to put the shaver on the base first, and then you plug it into the wall. If you do that, the shaver will have no problem staying secure on the charging base.
All in all, this is the best electric shaver I've ever owned, I am very impresses with it.

Used to use a cheapo less than $10 drugstore Clio razor which was okay but was useless for anything other than my arms and the soft hair on my thighs. Definitely wasn't something that was a good replacement for razors. I have thick, coarse hair so it can be a pain to find products that work for me but don't hurt my sensitive skin. I was tired of the in-grown hairs and razor burn from safety razors, tired of the time and money investment of waxing, and too sensitive for the chemical heavy hair removers. Saw the price for this one and decided to take the jump and it definitely paid off. This is by far the best razor I've used. It's compact, powerful, and has a charger that saves space. The battery lasts a very long time - right out of the box I was able to save my entire legs, bikini, underarms, and arms and still have charge left.
My only problem is that it takes a bit of maneuvering to shave the nethers with since this model comes with no bikini attachment, but it still did it's job fine. A cord would be nice but take up space so if I ever decide to use it on the charger I can just go get one of the many extension cords in the house - it's no big deal.

I finally got tired of waxing & sugaring - too much pain for a week of smoothness and three weeks of stubble as I wait for the hair to be long enough to endure torture again, depilatories & razor shaving irritate my skin and laser takes too much time & money for me...which pretty much left trying a shaver. I chose this model and a month later, here I am happy as a...well as happy as a shaver can make a girl. This produces a result for me that is equilivant to using a razor + 8 hours: no visible stubble and still pretty smooth to the touch. Surprisingly, I get the best and smoothest results on my bikini line, where the results are even better than that of a razor. I also use it on my underarms, it does leave a faint shadow from direct on but for that matter, so does a razor. I suppose if I had a special occasion, I might break out my old Venus but otherwise this is my go-to hair removal for the day-to-day. I am amazed by how close this thing can get, it takes me about 10 minutes to do my legs, underarms and bikini line and no more ingrown hairs or razor bumps. YAY!!!Customer Review: works good

after reading a ton of reviews i opted to get this one. i'm happy with my choice, i'm even buying another for a gift. i use mine to dry shave my legs. it gives a close enough shave where you can barely feel stubble. the plastic edges do not scrap your leg when pressing down like some people complained about with the Panasonic ES2216PC Close Curves Wet/Dry Ladies Shaver with Bikini Attachment, Mauve . i needed a razor that was sensitive enough to shave without causing the horrible red bumps i got after giving birth. all straight razors made the bumps worse but since using this i the bumps have gone away. the only thing i don't like is that it plugs directly into the charger that plugs into the wall. its kind of weird having my razor standing straight up from my outlet but i'll get used to it. you have to position the razor just right on the charger to make sure its getting charged. the light will let you know when its in the right position.Customer Review: Wow...

I have NEVER had a shave this close with an electric razor. I can use it to shave my legs, and not feel a SINGLE hair! It's my new favorite product, I love it so much! I had the older version of this too, the blue/green one, which I liked but bought this one when I lost the charger (I'd had that for years, and it still works! I just can't charge it, haha!) And this one gets an even closer shave! I'm so never using those regular razors again where I always end up cutting myself, it's this little baby every time!
Thank you Panasonic, you have truly revolutionized electric razors for women - we can FINALLY get a close shave like the men get with their razors! My legs have never looked more fabulous!
