For that type of money I was expecting something better. I find myself shawing the same part over and over again, even on the wet option. Have previously shaved with a Mach III Blade, but my face is too sensitive to shave daily - generally shave every third day, and even still ended up with irritation. After years of this I decided to try an electric shaver and chose this model based on reviews and Amazon.com's "Gold" recommendation (top tier shaver!) I've had it for a week now and have been able to shave every day with no irritation! Die-hard blade shavers will tell you that there's no closer shave than a blade, and that's certainly true, but this gets pretty close. For me, being able to shave daily makes all the difference. The cleaning feature is very nice, too. Light-weight, easy to handle, and much quieter than I expected. I was nervous when I made the purchase, knowing I wouldn't be able to return it if it didn't work out, but I am very happy I took the chance.Customer Review: Also...

Before I bought this, I had tried Braun which was $150 but the shave was not fast enough. Also, in neck area, Barun was not doing such a great job
Panasonic does excellent job to clean neck area and it is quick and close shave. I have had it for 3 months now and I have no problem.
Side burn trimmer does not work so well on Panasonic though but I can live with that.

I shave my beard and head in the shower. This is much easier than shaving with a razor. The charge lasts a LONG time. Took my skin about two weeks to get used to it (you have to give it some time). The razor stays in my shower until the battery gets low, then I let it recharge overnight (although it recharges in an hour or so). Excellent product so far.Customer Review: Well...

It did not matter if I used a blade or a remington shaver I always become irritated by shaving which no post cream would help.
Well, just received this panasonic and am getting the best shave of my life with no irritation. I am a happy person who does not have to go around with red cheeks and neck.
