I have been stuck with my Gillette Fusion for years now since most electric shavers I have tried only irritated my skin and left much stubble on my face. And the Fusion gave me a great shave with minimal irritation. But then.... I found that some people were recommending this shaver to us "sensitive" types. I was skeptical, and a little nervous. I don't have a lot of money, and spending $150 on something I wasn't sure would even work for me was risky. I did it though, and I will tell ya what. :-) As long as you shave every day, this shaver will not disappoint! I don't get the irritation, and if I use it dry, I get a terrific shave! If I let it go over the weekend or something, I still have to use my Fusion since the hair is so thick and long at that point. But my point is that I LOVE this razor! I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to those who have sensitive skin with thick facial hair.Customer Review: Great shave!

When using this shaver as a "wet shaver" with shaving cream etc., this Panasonic is literally as good as shaving with a normal razor only with all the speed and convenience of an electric! My face was already used to this type of electric shaver as I had previously been using a low-end model Braun--so my face didn't need any time for adjustments like the box warns it might. I've always had similar foil-style Brauns (but never a wet shaver before) and a gold box deal convinced me to try this Panasonic, and I haven't been disappointed! This is the best shave with an electric shaver I've ever had! The only thing that takes a little getting used to is that the blades move so fast that they produce a really high pitched buzzing sound, but it's not loud, you get used to it quickly, and I might just have really sensitive hearing. I did a lot of research and came up with the Panasonic as my top choice and I have not been disappointed yet. I've been working with it for about a month and am very happy. I originally bought it to help shave my head with a razor to do the follow-up work. I've found that I don't need the razor - the Panasonic cuts extremely close. Started to use it on my beard as well and am very happy. It even gets the small wiskers next to the nostrils. Easy to clean - can clean it right in the shower or sink, or place it in the self cleaner. The self cleaner buzzes loud enough that you should do the self cleaning when you're not home. Things I like: percentage of battery charge left displayed, can charge in the cleaner (while cleaning) or charge with the cord, wet or dry use, can clean while in the shower. I'm in the military and need to shave every day...it passes inspection.Customer Review: Best Shaver yet!

I bought this shaver after my old Braun was not doing the job anymore. The Braun was a dry shaver and I wanted a wet/dry shaver. I researched plenty of shavers and I got a Norelco three head shaver. It was worse than my Braun! So I looked at the Panasonics. They were expensive but I was sick of the razor burn.. I settled on this unit and even saved about $50 by using amazon!!
It worked great immediately! They say it takes a while for your face to adjust but my first shave was the best shave I have had in years. Plus the next few shaves got even better!

No more razor burn either! I shave with Edge sensitive skin gel with a wet face. After my shave I splash cold water on my face and then put some Nivea after shave balm on. Perfect every time!!

I bought this for my husband's Christmas present. He HATES to shave- absolutely dreads it. Furthermore, he always indicated that he would love to use an electric razor (faster, easier) but the ones he used before yanked at his hair and was very painful to him. After reading the other reviews on this shaver I figured I had nothing to lose- why not try it??!!
My husband used the razor yesterday (26 Dec) for the first time. He used it dry and absolutely LOVED it! No pain, easy, fast, and a nice close shave. He cannot wait to use it wet. He said he will be shaving much more often and is certain that he has found a real keeper in this electric shaver.
Amazon price and free shipping with Amazon prime truly made this an affordable gift. My husband being this happy - well, that is priceless!
