Customer Reviews of Panasonic Oral Irrigator EW-DJ10-ACustomer Review: Strong, Efficient, Good on Batteries Summary: 5 Stars
For years I have thought that a portable water pick would be a good idea, but never thought until recently to see if one existed. The reviews for this Panasonic unit were better than others for sale, and I ordered it for that reason. Coincidentally, my plug-in unit failed a day or so after the Panasonic arrived, so I use it several times a day, plus on a recent overnight motorcycle trip to Big Bear Lake, CA. The jet pulse stream is actually stronger than that of my former plug-in, and it has continued to operate strongly on the first set of (2 AA) batteries for about a month. The reservoir capacity is perfect for one usage. It folds up very well to pack for a trip, with the jet piece easily removed and stored safely in the unit. A couple of days ago I looked for a replacement plug-in at Walmart. I found them all to be quite expensive, so I decided to continue to use the Panasonic portable all the time.
Customer Review: Panasonic vs Waterpik Summary: 5 Stars
I have both portable irrigators, the Waterpik waterflosser and the Panasonic Oral Irrigator EW-DJ10-A. The waterpik was recommended by my dentist. I was amazed at what it did, just what the dentist wanted it to do. However, after about two weeks the unit wouldn't charge I contacted Waterpik support, I still haven't got a reply. A search on the internet revealed that I wasn't the only one with the charging problem. I noticed the tip was plugged so I unplugged that and it starting charging again. After 5 months of regular use it stopped charging and will no longer charge the unit so it is only useful for a doorstop. The Panasonic unit uses AA batteries and there is no charging problem. The pulsating action is less vigorous with the Panasonic but it seems to do the job and I am thrilled with it and so is the dentist. He will no longer recommend Waterpik
Customer Review: Can not believe it. Summary: 5 Stars
I can not believe it and you will not either ,I first saw this item in a magazine then several magazines . I decided to check this out at Amazon just to see if they had it ,they did and wow was it alot less inexpensive than anywhere else on earth. I`am so glad that I purchased the Oral Irrigator by Panasonic. It is the best water pick by far than many others and I have the Oral-B Hydro Floss and I still prefer the Oral Irrigator by Panasonic. It does a fantastic job on the teeth and gums my Dentist remarked what a terrific job I was doing ,she said keep it up. I will cause it is so easy .I still can not get over how much I saved ,I saved a total of $23.00 without shipping, from Amazon .I am so glad I checked out Amazon, usually I take the seller for their word . Not any more. Thankyou Amazon .com Terry Merrill
Customer Review: great little gadget Summary: 5 Stars
Our old Waterpic finally fell apart after years of service. The pressure on the thing could knock your eye out if you didn't aim carefully! I didn't want to spend a bundle on a replacement and wasn't adverse to saving space in our very small (no countertop) bathroom. I decided the price was right and the reviews were good so I'd give the Panasonic a shot. I'm very pleased with this mini version. The pressure is not as good as the Waterpic but, that said, it is definitely good enough. The size is ideal and I like not having to plug anything in. I do have to fill the reservoir twice but that's doable. It uses almost no counter space and is easily portable. I would not only recommend it but am thinking of giving one as a gift. It's a user friendly, nifty little gadget that gets the job done without a fuss!
Customer Review: Good Product Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this product for a little over a month now and so far I have been completely satisfied with it. It's easy to use and has ample power to get rid of food particles that cannot be removed with a toothbrush. It is also good for flushing out food particles that get caught in gum pockets.
I mix my own concoction of warm water and mouth wash even though the instructions say to use just water. My mouth feels totally refreshed and that's what I am looking for in an oral irrigator. I have always owned a Waterpik which is also a good product however I like the fact that this product uses plain batteries which eliminates the need for a charging adapter and it also collapses for easy storage. I am glad that I made the decision to give this product a try.
