I was happy to find this replacement set online made by Panasonic. I assumed it would be the original blade type but it isn't. When I received it, upon opening the package, I immediately noticed that the blades were different. Instead of flat blades that stand vertically, these are flat strips bent into arches. Instead of vertical, they are horizontal. As a result of the redesign, they are much much more prone to pulling whiskers when shaving... painful. I was very disappointe and have no idea why they changed to this. The original blades, as old as they are now, still work better than these.Customer Review: Worthless

I purchased this item in late June 2010 but didn't use it until today. First shave was totally unacceptable. Almost like shaving without a blade. My old very used blade set is actually better. Would definitely not recommend this item to anyone.
