I have stubborn wax and can no longer afford to go to the ear doctor to have it removed. It cost several hundred dollars for me to do so. I find that if I use drops for a day to soften the wax and then candle my ears with 2 candles and then irrigate them with warm water this removes my wax. If I only do one or two of these proceders it won't work for me. I have to do all three. I think the candles soften the wax. I don't believe they suction it out. I've burned a candle on it's own to see what it looks like and I assure you it doesn't vacuum the wax. But the candles have been a money saver for me if I do all three procedures together. Ear wax remover alone won't help me. Believe me, I've tried several of them.
