The razor was my introduction to shaving with a straight razor. It takes alot of practice and a light hand, but he shave can be phenomenal. Just take your time and a very light hand!!!!!!!!
The razor quality is great for the price. The blade arm is steel and holds the blade securely. The blade handle is some sort of chrome plating over a hard plastic... The blades that come with the razor are very sharp.
If you want to try a straight razor, don't want to deal with blade sharpening and don't want to spend a fortune, this is a great item. Very happy with the purchase.
