This will probably be the closest that I will ever get to using skis...however, these have been a God send. Tennis balls are okay, but they wear so quickly especially when using on concrete or asphalt. These not only last longer, but also smooth the way.
Excellent choice, however, tennis balls are a better choice for someone who needs to have some resistence when walking (new walker user, folks who move slowly).
Description of Penco Universal Walker Ski, Glides - 1 Pair
These walker ski glides are made of high quality resin for the back legs of a wheeled walker. Easily installed in minutes with a Phillips screwdriver - simply remove the existing rubber feet, slide the ski into the walker tube, and tighten two stainless steel screws. Fits outside diamter of 1" or 1 7/8" of any walker.Ski Guides
