Customer Review: Good product; came quickly & installed easily! Summary: 4 Stars
What I saw is what I wanted and what I got! Good price, too.
Note to inventors: All these ski guides are quite similar to one another,
the thickest ones seem to last the longest and these are examples of this virtue. The fact is that bricks and concrete are rough on even nylon skis and they wear out rapidly under this abuse. I would welcome skis with a tougher surface, if one could be found, for outdoor use. It would have to be usable on carpets etc, indoors too, of course. I would gladly pay proportionately more for a longer lived ski set!
These ski guides work well and last about one year, which is better than tennis balls! I used the cheaper version that just slide into the back legs, but they tend to work themselves out after awhile. The Penco guides enable you to easily tighten so that they won't fall out.
Customer Review: alternative to tennis balls Summary: 4 Stars
these are easy to install and do as they promise.
outlasting tennis balls for this function
Customer Review: Walker Skis are great Summary: 3 Stars
I injured my left knee on ice and used a walker with nothing on the back legs. The legs caught and I was thrown, injuring my other knee. I tried tennis balls but they wore out too quick. I finally heard about walker skis, bought them, and have had bo difficulty walking over any terrain.
