I'm a graduate student and these are really handy to have in my desk drawer both at work and at school. Even if you are a coffee drinker, these are way more convenient in a pinch and result in much better breath! I bought the big package to give as Christmas gifts to friends. Each mint has the caffeine equivalent of 1/3 of a soda, so they aren't going to make you feel too weird. The mints have a smooth texture (as opposed to Altoids' sort of chalky texture) but they can get some gritty spots in them as you suck on them. I'm guessing this might be little chunks of caffeine that don't dissolve as well as the rest of the mint. And of course, I can always wish that they were cheaper than they are. That's sort of part of being a graduate student.
