I've used this shaver daily for about two months and couldn't be happier. It replaced a Braun mobile shaver which didn't last long before performance completely deteriorated.
The shave from this Philips rotary shaver is very good, and the shaver is nicely constructed. The two rotary blades are standard to other lift & cut shavers, which are drugstore replacement items when the need arises. This shaver is good at lifting up and cutting errant hairs that foil shavers refuse. This shaver uses two replaceable AA-batteries, which is a good travel requirement so you don't have to fuss with a charger. It seems that a pair of good batteries will run this shaver for a couple months. I think this shaver performs identical to it's big brothers, except that the blades probably spin a little slower and there is no sideburn trimmer.
If you normally like rotary shavers, get this travel unit. If you're like me and normally use a full-size foil shaver, this rotary shaver will still offer you much more than a travel foil shaver.
