I switched to electric razors when retiring to the Dominican Republic because though razors are easy to find the blades are not. And they are quite expensive.
Unquestionably this razor gives me the best shave of any I have used. My beard is tough and one thing that always bothered me was the pulling I experienced when going against the grain, so to speak. With this razor, I do not get that. This, by itself, is enough to make me like the razor. Also, there is a spot on my neck just below the jaw bone near my ear that other razors had trouble getting. Consequently I often had hair in those spots. With this razor, I do not have the problem.
I prefer to clean a razor head with a brush, and this is easy to do. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to lift off the top of the chamber so I could "sweep" out the contents with the provided brush, but it only takes a minute or two to clean the chamber and have the razor ready for the next use.
Finally, not only do my fingers when rubbing my face after a shave tell me I am getting a better shave, I also find more whisker residue in the chamber than previously.
The razor is good looking and it is very comfortable in my hand. Very light. I recommend it.
UPDATE: Because some reviews agree the razor gives a very good shave, but have marked it down because of the "maintenance", in fairness to what most consider an excellent razor it needs to be said that the maintenance referred to is not mandatory. I am not putting the razor in the cleaner daily and do not intend to. I may do it when by its performance I know that it needs more of a cleaning than I can give it with the after-use brushing, or I may do what I have always done with electric razors, and what the manual for this razor calls the "extra thorough cleaning method", namely, lift the restraining frame, remove the cutters one by one and clean them and their combs with the brush, reassemble.
