After shaving with blades for my entire life, it seems like suddenly they don't last but one or two shaves anymore. Besides the expense and trouble of shaving this way, I just finally decided to give an electric razor a try. (I've tried a few friends' over the years, but none ever seemed to give a close nor comfortable shave).
I am amazed at this product. I can only second everything Mr. Ekaitis has stated. This product is amazingly quiet, and I get a closer, smoother shave than I have ever had in my life. If you're looking for a quality razor and a great price, get this razor. It is awesome.

This is my first time of using electric shavers, and from what I read that It will take some time until my skin get use to it and have a complete satasfiying shave, but when I use Norelco 6423LC it was really great I got my chin shaved from the first use without having any irritaion or else, and I had a wonderful complete shave.
I bought a Braun from WalMart, but it wasn't that good even that it didn't shave anything. I return it in the same day...
Really, this shaver is the best ever, no need to charge or recharge, use it for like 5 minute and you will have a full neat shave.

This unit replaced a perhaps 8 or 10 year old Norelco razor that I hadn't changed the blades on ever.
Compared to my old Norelco, this one is much much quieter. It's almost silent. The heads can pivot, as well as be "pushed in". After the second shave, I found that the shave was very smooth, and the shaver is so flexible in it's "floating heads" design that I barely felt as if I was shaving hair at all.
There's nothing shoddy or yesterday about this razor...I will use this candy blue Norelco for years to come.

my old Norelco finaly died on me after 8 years just befor christmas. I needed a new razor in a hurry and couldn'ts pend much as I had just finished my christmas shopping. Well I came across this Norelco here on amazon. Seemed to have good reviewsk, I bought it and had it 2 days later. I haven't had a problem at all, it works just fine. I've been an electric razor user for years so didn't need to adjust to anything. This one is much quieter than the old one. If you're looking for a low priced electric, don't hesitate to put this one in your shopping cart.Customer Review: Great bargain

Like many others, I checked into the prices on new blades for my older Norelco, and found this one priced about the same. I see the price has gone up a few dollars over what I paid a few weeks ago, but still a great deal. This one is a giant leap over the old one. It's smoother, quieter, and shaves closer. The one snag is the cord is tightly coiled, and tends to unplug from the bottom of the shaver when you are using it. However, don't even think about getting replacement blades, buy this one and you get a new motor and a much, much better shave.
