Bought this for my husband b/c of all the complaints about the really old shaver. He has a really heavy beard and only shaves 1x per week. Also shaves his head. He just loves it. Doesn't have to press hard and it shaves close. As long as he empties the hair between shaving his face and his head, it does a great job.Customer Review: I'm buying another as a spare.

Outstanding product. No need to ever worry about finding replacement batteries. Just plug it in and shave. Lets hope Norelco continues to make this fine item. I no longer need to worry about damaging the battery; shortening its life. The battery operated Norelco I had (prior to this corded version) died in about a year. Not nearly good enough benefit for what I paid. This corded version, however, was not expensive and will never have a dead battery. If you've got a receptacle by the mirror where you shave, I highly recommend this version over a battery operated version. This is an excellent electric shaver at a bargain price. It is compact, lightweight and works well. The only detraction is that there is no carrying case.
