Customer Review: Close, comfortable, and convenient

Other reviewers have covered just about everything that I would have to say, so let me just add a "me, too" to what I consider to be the most important points.
1) Very, very comfortable shave, the most comfortable I've ever had. (I will qualify that by saying that this is the first electric shaver I've used in the shower, so as far as that type of shaving goes, my experience is limited.) It's not as close as a blade -- almost, but not quite.
2) It's very easy to clean, charges fast, and holds a charge for a pretty good length of time (probably about 45 minutes or so of shaving time).
3) The gel and lotion packs are a neat idea and are very convenient, but they are exceptionally pricey. They're about $1.25 each, and they last only about a week. I do use them when I travel for the convenience, but at home, I use regular shaving gel, and I encourage you to try the same. It saves a lot of money.
4) As with any new shaving technique, you will need to experiment a bit to find out what works at what doesn't as far as direction of motion, amount of pressure, and the like. They do say in the manual that you should give it three weeks, so if you don't like it at first, give it some time and try different shaving methods.
5) I've never actually dropped mine, so I can't confirm or deny whether it breaks as easily as others have said it does, but the shaver does look a little delicate, so being careful is probably prudent.
6) I don't use the trimmer, either, but I can see how having to change the attachment would be annoying, as others have reported.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the shaver. It makes shaving easy, convenient, and even fun -- so much so that, for the first time since I started shaving over twenty years ago, I'm actually shaving every day. For me, that says more about the shaver than anything else could.
