Customer Review: Idea seemed good but practice not so good.

I order the Norelco 8060X to replace an old Norelco Cool Shave razor.
PROS - Decent close shave with comfortable grip. Shave lotion filler/dispenser is handy when it works.
CONS - You have to use the razor bent over a sink or in the shower because clippings come out of the head, and they are free to fall from there. The shave cream is in a bigger package than my previous razor, but it is only two and a half ounces and didn't really last much longer than the package inserts on my old razor. The razor I received had two defects the rotating razor blades would get stuck in the head and the razor would leak lotion out of the side of the razor when in the dispenser making a mess.
I returned the razor for full refund.

Philips Norelco shavers are not worth anywhere near the prices shown. They don't do a good job. Every other brand of electric shaver I have used has worked better.Customer Review: Norelco review
