This is a great product.
I was skeptical when I first opened the box. The trimmer is made of lightweight plastic. The housings around the cutting blades were falling off. The tray for holding the various parts is too large and I had no room for it. The different cutting heads didn't fit tightly in the tray and rattled around.
I charged the cutter but wasn't expecting much. Boy was I surprised. The trimmer cuts effortlessly. This clipper cut better than any I've ever had a barber use on me. A light touch and the hair is gone. The cutting system is almost foolproof and so very easy to use because of it's simple design. When using the combs there's no need to go over the same areas again and again. It's simple, quick, and efficient even with no hair cutting experience. It's worth twice the price.

I've had the trimmer for a few weeks now, and have had no problems with it. Vastly superior to my old dying one. I've only really used the beard trimmer, and the default head, which works great. Charged it to full when I bought it, and have been trying to run the battery all the way down before charging it again, and it still works wonderfully. My only possible negative is that I've once accidentally pushed too hard on the plastic beard trimmer, and had it decrease the setting by a couple notches (from a five down to a three). No harm done, but I was more careful with how I held it after that. The normal head works very well for trimming the length of the hair on my upper lip, and I have occasionally switched to the smaller one for more precise trimming. It also works very well on my neck, shaping my neckbeard pretty well. A few tugs of the hair, but nothing painful. I honestly doubt I'll ever use the other extensions, it works great as a beard trimmer for me and that's all I really need it for.Customer Review: A Grooming Kit that Has It All

This great grooming kit has everything you'll need to be perfectly groomed (or to help your husband/son, etc.) with their grooming.
The kit contains a mini shaver, nose/ear/eyebrow trimmer/, a precision trimmer, a fine detailing blade, and a beard & moustache comb.
It also has 9 lock-in settings which make trimming the hair incredibly easy. I used this on my friend (who has a buzz/shaved cut) and I was done in five minutes.
Another nice feature of the kit is that is can be used cordless.
You'll save lots of money and time using this kit, and I think you'll be happy with the results.

I've been looking for a good quality grooming kit for quite awhile. My main issues are eyebrows, sideburns, nasal and ear hair - with occasional neck shave between haircuts. I don't have a mustache or beard, nor do I cut or trim my own hair, so those accessories will probably not be used.
I am very pleased with the kit - it does a great job and is well-designed. The only thing that isn't quite up to snuff in my opinion (or maybe I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet) are the clear plastic combs that act as adjustable 'stand-offs' to ensure uniform cutting length. I have only used the precision trimmer comb for my eyebrows, and it slipped out of position and I cut my eyebrows too close (but they grow back so fast anyway that it's no big deal). Other than that, it's a great kit, especially for the money.

I bought this to replace a Braun that never did work properly/ The switch was of such poor quality you had to squeeze the device, hold it in the right position then attempt to trim. Needless to say, I'll never buy another product from them. I researched the Philips Norelco G480 at Amazon, read most of the reviews and decided to make the purchase. It arrived quicker than I expected in just a matter of days. What a pleasant surprise to find out that it actually worked better than I expected. When I purchased it, I didn't really think I needed all the extra features and heads, but now I use almost all of them and am very pleased with the results. If it it continues to work as it does, I'll be completely impressed and purchase other products from them as necessary.
