Buy this product with confidence. If you hate the rotary style nose & ear hair trimmers, finding them ineffective--you will LOVE this trimmer. Multi-use is a key capability of this product. Ears, nose, mustache, eyebrows...anything--I even trimmed my hair with it (I wear a buzz cut).
Bottom-line: Do not buy rotary style trimmers, as they don't work--regardless of how sharp the blades are, how much they're angled, how many there are, etc. You will be disappointed. You will NOT be disappointed with this trimmer. It's better than the one I had to replace. This one is awesome and I highly recommend it!

I need to start with the fact that I find ear and nose hair about the most disgusting thing about getting older. I cannot stand it.
This was purchased from a different vendor as a replacement for one of those rotary style ear/nose trimmers. The basic problem with that design is that you cannot get all the hairs with those, especially in the ears.
This unit gets as close as you could get with scissors or some sort of blade and yet cannot cut the skin because of the head design.
A couple of minutes with this and my ears are pristine and as smooth as a baby dolphin.

I have tried several electric trimmers all of them where the rotary style. The design of this trimmer looked different so I decided to give it a try. This thing is great. Plenty of power and the angle of the cutter head lets you get right where you need it. The cutter blades do a great job as well not leaving anything behind. The lack of power was the issue with the rotary trimmers, but not with this one, you can tell right away this thing will work. And trimming your eye brow has never been easier. Getting just inside your ear canal is also a great attribute. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.Customer Review: If it fails - wash it. This device works fine.

Many reviews claim this device fails quickly. My experience is that if you rinse after each use it works great, and if it seems to fail, it is easy to get going again.
I bought one, it seemed to fail in a couple weeks. I liked it enough that I bought another. It also seemed to fail in a couple weeks. They would just not turn on.
I checked Norelco's site which recommends a 2-minute soak in soapy water if a shaver won't turn on. I did that and now I have two working shavers, one for home, one for travel. I now rinse them after each use. They have worked great ever since.

I love this trimmer. It works great and is easy to use thanks to the angled design of the cutter head. However, I also got one that quit after 1 use. I exchanged it for a new one, because when it works it's awesome. The second one is still working. The second one had an insert with the instructions that was not in the first one emphasizing that you have to use the included brush to clean the cutter and rinse it in hot water after using it. I have been religious about that with the 2nd one and that could be the difference in why it's still working, so make sure you do that if you get one.
