I've had a beard since 1982. I've always kept it perfectly trimmed. I bought the older model of this trimmer in 1999. It actually still works, but the battery doesn't hold as good a change, the blades are only a little dull and it's been dropped over the years (still looks good though). I love the fact that it's cordless and the battery is very strong. I trim my beard once a week and I've only charged this once (used it about 5 times, so far). So when I saw this one for sale with free shipping, it was a no brainer. Performs perfectly and I highly recommend it. And it's made and laid out better then the older model. The only negitive I would say is that the company no longer provides a storage bag to keep it in, so I just switched it over from the old one (which I kept in case of emergency). You may ask yourself "a beard emergency" well, if I had to go out and forgot to charge the unit (As I said above "perfectly trimmed"). I don't want to look like a bum ya know!!
