I purchased mine about 5 weeks ago. It's great!
Prior to buying, I read many many of the reviews and as a result was quite skeptical and leary about trying one. Since I new I could return it if not satisfied, I decided to give it a try. It's a fine piece of work. Clean, relatively quick saves; gets the long wiskers too; smooth face; no razor burn; long lasting (long!) between charges; the trimmer works very well; no fuss to clean, just open the three heads over the sink, they hold the shaved wiskers very satisfactorally until dumped (mini-minimal drops to the floor or my chest; no need to rinse but probably smarter to do in the long run; very pleased with it. Don't worry, try it for yourself. Push out, mon, and circle in the lift of life. Jaun Armostrongalis, Montpelier , Vt.

When I first saw the commercial for the arcitect, I was intrigued. Well I got a Panasonic Nano for the Christmas holiday. It was decent but left too many hairs, not smooth and was hot to the touch. So I made a return for the arcitec and what a major change!!! The shaver is very smooth and glides over my face. Very very close shave on the face and chin!!! I have never had a shaver get total clean on the neck, but this razor did much better than any other I ever had....and I have had many. The shaver stays nice and cool to the touch. Cleanup is so easy!!! Just pop open, run under water and done in 15-20sec tops.
The shaver is quiet as well. All around winner!!!
I stronlgy recommend the aritec!!! You won't be sorry!!!

I have used Norelco razors off and on for nearly 40 years. I've read a few reviews who charge that the quality of this Norelco is not near that of their razors of years gone by. To some degree, is anything as good as it used to be, I don't know? I do know that materials are lighter and this often is used to explain less quality. Everyone's beard is probably a little different, but I do not find this razor lacking at all in shaving performance, it shaves me closely and without burning. This is in contrast to the Remington that I just replaced. I also find this razor to be a lot easier to clean than previous Norelco razors. I also find the reservoir to be quite adequate in catching the shavings. Two thumbs up!Customer Review: Great results for Norelco Arcitec 1050 !!!

I read the pro and con comments on the Norelco Arcitec 1050 and made the purchase....nothing but positive returns here. Someone said it's noisy....not so compared to my old Braun 7550 which I was buying blades for every couple of months..and I do not have a heavy beard. The Norelco gives me a close shave...with my Braun I used to have to use a hand razor for my neck. And whoever complained about the cleaning of the Norelco needs a butler.....you pop open the 3 rotary blades, run under the sink for 10 seconds, hitting each blade and it's perfectly clean for the next use. I got about 30 days worth of shaving before having to recharge. Bottom line here, totally happy with this product.Customer Review: Awesome!

I have been using Norelco shavers for many years. After purchasing this one, I passed on my "cool skin" to my cousin which still works great.
The Philips Norelco arcitec 1050 Men's Shaver gives the smoothest shave I have ever received, even better than the old fashioned shaving cream and razors!
I read several comments about this product and those that were negative obviously were from competitors!
The chin is the roughest part of my beard, and I do have a rough beard.
This razor took the beard off with very little force and the best part is the way the heads conform to the chin area.
I always say "you get what you pay for".
