This is my 2nd Sonicare 4100. My other one lastest for 10 yrs., until it would finally decide to turn on by itself. Can't complain for the amount of use it got, 4 family members for 10 yrs.! I decided to go with another 4100 because it is a solid performer. I decided against getting a newer model Sonicare, as it seems all they did was add frills to spruce up an already great power toothbrush and raise the price as well. I am just thankful they still offer the Sonicare 4100, as it does exactly what they originally designed it to do, clean teeth remarkable well, and provide a power toothbrush that lasts!Customer Review: Good Investment!

After my dentist told me I had gingivitis I knew it was time to start taking better care of my teeth. After I did some research I decided upon this model toothbrush even though it was a bit more expensive than what I was used to paying for a toothbrush. After a month of use I can say that my teeth are noticeably whiter which I was amazed by. It does a good job of cleaning thoroughly your teeth and the timer is excellent because I never know how long I should be brushing my teeth for. I completely recommend this product and I probably will never go back to brushing my teeth with a regular toothbrush.Customer Review: A Home without Sonicare is home without indoor plumbing!

Having used a Sonicare toothbrush for a decade, I can state with confidence that there is no toothbrush like it. My dentist would agree: When I see him, he always compliments me on what good care I take of my teeth. Fact is, all I do is brush twice a day with Sonicare. Recently, I finally replaced a very old unit with new one (Model 4100), which I purchased from Amazon.com. The price was thiry percent less than Walmart's (plus I paid no sales tax), and the deliver was swift. The new one works even better than the old one---which is saying a lot. i have never had a cavity and i am 50 years old, so you know oral hygiene is important to me.
this toothbrush is super powerful . it massages your gums(mine bled the first use because i have not been flossing enough)and my teeth looked whiter after the first use.this toothbrush makes brushing fun.it makes oral b electric and crest electric(battery powered) brushes seem like kids stuff compared to the high rpm's you get off this baby.buy one now ! you'll love it and thank yourself everytime you brush your teeth.then you'll order one for your spouse and kids just like i did !

I bought a Sonicare 3 years ago at my dentist's recommendation. It was flattened by several cars in an unfortunate motorcycle accident (I did recover the remains). My dentist bugged me to get another, and since this model is cheap, I got it. My dentist said the newer models aren't much different, as they apparently just have different fancy timing options (which seem gimmicks to me). The sonic waves from this toothbrush with sonic waves seem much more effective than the OralBs which just spin. My dentist notices my lack of flossing less when I use this. I love it :)
