Customer Reviews of Philips Sonicare Elite 7500 Power ToothbrushCustomer Review: Besides... Summary: 5 StarsThe shape of brush is very ideal for our teeth. The bristles are softer than other brands. I love the brushing effect. Besides, the handle is also good for me.
Customer Review: I used to smoke and there were tar stains on my teeth even after I stoped. Summary: 5 StarsI am using this toothbrush for the last 5 months. I used to smoke and there were tar stains on my teeth even after I stoped. But this tooth brush removed all of them. Its angle helps in reaching all the places. Its a bit expensive, but worth the price. The LED indicator is also helpfull for knowing the battery charged and making the life of the battery longer. The first time you brush with it you will feel a bit tickling in your teeth, but after that its just like a regular toothbrush. You can feel the difference the first time you brush your teeth using this toothbrush.
Customer Review: I have spent thousands of dollars on my teeth... Summary: 5 StarsI have spent thousands of dollars on my teeth, all due to events or conditions I could not help (TMJ, car accident, braces twice, etc.) While I haven't had a cavity since I was a pre-teen, it was to my horror that my dentist plus a specialist pronounced me as having fairly severe gum disease. I had 12mm pockets on several teeth, was in danger of having to have them pulled (that would be in addition to the ones which were so damaged in the car accident they had to be pulled)... it looked like I had no future except for a denture which I vehemently refused to wear... the Sonicare Elite products were recommended by people who were using them themselves so I bit the bullet as to the price and bought one. Even though I didn't start using it right away, my specialist's hygienist saw a difference in the quality of home care within about 3 days of use. And that's half the battle won in periodontic disease is your attention to home care! If it improved the look of my home care in just three days, imagine what my teeth and gums would look like in a month or three months! Delighted!
Customer Review: However I have to give credit to both models for helping to reverse my gingivitis... Summary: 5 StarsI used the original Sonicare for years, and now own this model. I certainly prefer the new ergonomic design as it does reach the back teeth more effectively. However I have to give credit to both models for helping to reverse my gingivitis, removing stains, and generally giving me better oral health. Teeth are so important, it seemed a small price to pay. Great toothbrushes.
Customer Review: I wouldn't normally buy anything marketed with "Elite" in the name... Summary: 2 StarsI wouldn't normally buy anything marketed with "Elite" in the name, but I had some extra cash when I saw the top of the line on sale. It seemed too cool to pass up on impulse. Famous last words. My teeth did feel clean and smooth the week I used it, but they were not any whiter. The sensation seemed brought on by the noisy whir, numbing vibrations, and relatively long 2 minute brushing time. I wasn't happy with being locked into buying replacement heads for something that didn't really work, so I did some research. Unfortunately, my instincts were dead on. Notwithstanding the pretty lights, beeping noises, luxurious case, and grandiose claims, the simple fact is that conscientious manual brushing is clinically proven to be just as effective. In fact, the only type of powered brush that offers any statistically significant benefit whatsoever over manual is "rotational oscillation," NOT so-called "sonic." All in all, I'd say Braun has somewhat less brazen snake-oil salesmen than Philips.
