Customer Reviews of Philips Sonicare Elite 7500 Power ToothbrushCustomer Review: com peace YO!!!!! Summary: 1 StarsIf it were possible to give this toothbrush a 0, I would. It's a little pricey for a piece of junk that it is. A toothbrush that is way better is Cybersonic 2. It costs less than this toothbrush. It also offers more. The Sonicare Elite 7500 cleans at 31,000 strokes a minute, but Cybersonic 2 cleans at 41,000. Cybersonic 2 comes with a 2 tongue cleaner, 2 flosser attachments and 45 pre-strung flossing heads which are disposable, recharging stand, and best of all free replacement brushes every 3 months for free for ever. The Sonicare brushes cost more than $20. With the Sonicare brush you have to brush for 2 minutes and with the Cybersonic 2 you only have to brush for 1 minute and the brush pauses for a second to tell you that a minute has passed. Plain and simple, Cybersonic 2 is the best and most powerful toothbrush in the world. So if you want the best toothbrush, do not buy the Sonicare, buy Cybersonic 2. Check it out for yourself at Cybersonic2.com peace YO!!!!!
Customer Review: I received this as a gift from my dentist a few months ago and it works great. Summary: 5 StarsI received this as a gift from my dentist a few months ago and it works great. My teeth are whiter and feel cleaner... can definately notice a difference after one month of daily use. I havent tried the other models, but would recommend this one.
Customer Review: The toothbrush is on a hard plastic armature as expected . Summary: 4 StarsAs the other reviews accurately state: this toothbrush works VERY well but...this toothbrush is not for everyone. I have one part of my gum that is a bit sensitive and sometimes the vibrations hit a spot that really tingles in a painful sort of way. Also, one of it's main strengths is a potential 'pain' point -- the vibrating. The toothbrush is on a hard plastic armature (as expected). When this rapidly vibrating hard plastic inadvertently makes contact with my teeth, it reminds me of scratching the chalk board -- it does not hurt but is very 'painful' to experience.
Customer Review: It has more features than we really need... Summary: 5 StarsWe've had this power toothbrush for about three weeks, and we're very happy with it. It seems very effective, very sturdy, gentle, and refreshing. It has more features than we really need, but that's not really a problem, although it probably did add to the price. It's also a little startling, at first, when it does it's little pauses, to signal the user that it's time to switch brushing areas. We are very satisfied.
Customer Review: It seems pretty clear that they could have simply designed an new type of brush head to fit the old body they are almost identical but of course they want us all to buy new ones. Summary: 5 StarsThe Sonicare Advance (which I loved and have used for a couple of years) still works great but the Elite model is much better (for me). The narrower and angled design of the brush shaft on the Elite makes it much easier to reach the molars than the earlier design. It seems pretty clear that they could have simply designed an new type of brush head to fit the old body (they are almost identical) but of course they want us all to buy new ones... Bottom line: I'm glad I did. If you've never bought an "electric toothbrush" before, this is the one to get. It's the best by far of any I have tried.
