The biggest complaint I hear from people about electric tootbrushes is that the replacement heads are too expensive. Come now, that was the type of thinking that would have killed the Industrial Revolution!For anyone who really cares about dental hygeine or even just the way they look to other people, you can't not use an electric toothbrush anymore. I laughed at the idea at first, but once I began using one I will never be able to use a regular toothbrush again without feeling like my mouth isn't clean. When you go to the dentist--what type of toothbrush does he/she use on you? Electric--for a reason, because it cleans better.
The marginally higher cost of replacing the heads rather than buying an entirely new disposable toothbrush is insignificant when you actually feel as clean as you can when you use an electric brush. Personal dental care has evolved to the next step, and you don't want to be caught be the last person using a slide ruler because you were too frugal to purchase the more expensive but more effective calculator.
Your teeth (and anyone who comes in contact with them) will thank you.

I purchased this unit to replace an old Advance series that finally died. I thought I'd be getting a better unit with more features and to a large extent, this is true. However, the brush head is quite large and is too big for my mouth. The old Advance unit had a compact brush head available and it was wonderful. I contacted Sonicare and they have no plans to make a smaller brush for the Elite. That's too bad. It makes what could be a great product into a mediocre one. It's hard to get your teeth clean if the brush doesn't touch them. The brush head is so large, I can't get the inside surface of my teeth as clean as I'd like.Customer Review: I know it's only a toothbrush but it's such a pleasant experience...

I have been using Sonicaire products for about 8 years and will use nothing else. I recently retired my old Advance model and replaced it with the Elite 7500. I know it's only a toothbrush but it's such a pleasant experience, that I really look forward to my twice a day brushings. After some extensive dental reconstruction, I learned to take care of my teeth and Sonicare makes it happen. It may seem expensive, but the benefits and ease of use make it a bargain at twice the price.Customer Review: This is one of the most incredible products I have ever used or discovered!

I love this brush! My teeth are prone to cavities so proper dental care is very important to me. I first noticed this brush for sale at my denstist's office but figured it cost too much money. But soon after that Amazon had a great deal so I gave it a try. After the first use I couldn't beleive the differnce how my teeth felt versus manual brushing. My teeth had a nice slick feeling, the same feeling that I get after a hygenist buzzes away for 20min. I gave it 4 stars because the fibrating part does take some getting used to. I can't say how many times that I missed the bristles and had the plastic buzz against my teeth. Not a good feeling. However, that's probably due to inexperience since everyday that happens less. It's totally worth the investment
