I bought the sonicare elite last year just to see if it was worth all of the "hype." Well let me tell you, it is one of the greatest things I've ever done for myself. I've always taken good care of my teeth but still dreaded the twice yearly trips to the dentist. Now that I use the sonicare, my dentist cleanings only take 15 minutes and I have received compliments from the dentist as well as the hygenists about how clean my teeth are. This product may seem expensive, but belive me it is WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! Your teeth will look and feel so much better and your trips to the dentist will be a piece of cake. Wouldn't you rather buy a slightly expensive brush and save on future dental expenses? I sure would!Customer Review: My Teeth Never Felt Cleaner

This toothbrush is a must have. The first time I tried it I knew I could never go back to my old manual toothbrush. The Sonicare leaves your entire mouth feeling like you just left the dentist. Lately I've been using Listerine whitening mouthwash first then I brush. Seems like a great system for clean white teeth. I also read through other reviews on here and was intrigued by the "drilling" one. It's true the Sonicare is a little forceful upon first use, but I wouldn't want it any softer. I think that's the problem with some of the other electric toothbrushes I've tried. They didn't really feel like they were doing anything so I ultimately reverted to the manual. Now I think I've made the switch for good!Customer Review: I've used it twice so far, now I'm hooked.

Now I know why my dentist has been recommending I begin using this toothbrush for over a year now. I wasn't about to spend over $100 on a toothbrush when the dentist gives me a new one every six months for free. After alot of harrassing by my dentist, I purchased the Sonicare Elite 7500. I used it for the first time last night before bed. I'm AMAZED! My teeth felt like they do when I leave the dentist office. I followed up with my regular toothbrush. (only until I get a rythem down to cover all my teeth in the two minutes the timer gives you) The narrowed neck and smaller brushing head makes getting the very back of your mouth and teeth a snap.
Spend the money. You and your dentist will be thankful.

My dentist and hygienist are both incredibly nice people but that doesn't mean I want to spend hours with their hands stuck in my mouth as they try to clean up my messy teeth! Lucky for me I use a Sonicare toothbrush (lucky for them, too, because it makes their job so much easier). I just looked and I bought my brush in April 2006, it's now November 2010, and this will probably jinx it but my brush is still going strong. Do I cringe over price when I need new brushheads? Absolutely! But then I get a clean bill of dental health and limited scraping at my 6 month check up and it's all worthwhile (I'm a bit of a dental wimp afterall). I would absolutely recommend the Philips Sonicare toothbrush - it kinda rocks!Customer Review: Best Tooth Brush

My dentist recommanded I buy this tooth brush. He said I was gonna be pricey but well worth it which I come to find out to be true!
My teeth feel so much cleaner than brushing with a regular toothbrush. The 2 min. auto timer is just such a good feature, every 30 seconds it pauses to indicate for you to move on to the next sections of your mouth. And the battery life last so long! Fully charge it over night.. and don't have to chargeit again for 2 weeks! With it's traveling case, you can take it with you on vacations and not have to bring the charger!
So it's a bit price... the next time you want to buy that pair of shoes, or that new gadget... don't. Instead, buy this toothbrush!
