This is my first electric toothbrush so i cant fairly compare it to other models, but i will say that my teeth feel and look much cleaner than they did when i was brushing manaully. My gum health has rapidly improved as well.
The brush is easily cleaned, reaches the back of the mouth easily, and is comfortable to use. The thirty second timer is a really helpful tool.
One downside of using an electric brush is the need to use a tongue scraper... I used to just brush my tongue, but that is not so easily done with this brush.

My dentist recommended this product since I had some gum recession. As an extra bonus to helping my gums, my teeth are definitely whiter and shine after brushing. I'm very pleased with this product. It is very expensive as are the replacement heads. The only complaint I have is that when you replace the toothbrush in the charger, it must be seated precisely to charge, otherwise it keeps blinking causing you to return to make sure it's seated correctly. You'd think that this task could have been made easier with all the technology available.Customer Review: Sonicare Elite 7300

I purchased 2 of these for for my wife and I. If I had noticed that there was a model 7500 with 2 power brushes I would have purchased that saving a lot. The model is pricey, but works great and is easier to use than the previous heavier model. One thing that I don't like is that the battery is not replaceable. We previously had the old model and when the battery ran down we had to throw the unit away (after recyling the battery of course). You should be able to replace the rechargeable battery.
The unit is great though.

I waited many months before purchasing this toothbrush, mainly because of the price. I have been quite happy with this toothbrush since I received it and started using it. It took a few days before I was accustomed to the vibration of the brush on my lips, but that was my only problem. I appreciate the timer because I know I am getting the recommended brushing time in. I have had the brush for three months and find I need to replace my brush. The recommended replacement with the system is 6 months. I bought my Sonicare Elite a couple of months ago & am very satisfied with the results. My teeth feel so clean & my gums are getting more pink. I have braces & I want to tell you that my Sonicare does not harm them in any way, infact I found it easier to brush with my Sonicare than the manual toothbrush I was using. By it you won't be disappointed!!P.S. You can by the Sonicare Elite replacement heads at Amazon.com for only $19.99 (and that's for two) a lot cheaper than Wal*Mart which are roughly around $23.00!
