Customer Reviews of Philips Sonicare Elite e7300 Power ToothbrushCustomer Review: My husband is "Mr. Summary: 5 StarsMy husband is "Mr. Picky" when it comes to toothbrushes. He likes this one so well that all the others have been trashed and his professional dental cleanings are much less painful and less frequent. If he could build a savings account as fast as he builds plaque, we'd be very comfortable indeed.
Customer Review: Boy was I wrong! Summary: 5 StarsNever thought I'd say this about a toothbrush, but the Sonicare Elite has got to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. I had always thought that it was just a gadget made for people who had too much money or who simply had to have the latest electronic gadgets. Boy was I wrong! On my dentist's recommendation, I purchased a 7300 about a year ago (at full price, ouch!), and I've never regretted it (even though I hate spending money).
12 months later, I still marvel at how smooth and clean my teeth feel after each brushing. At my last 6-month checkup, my dentist literally exclaimed with joy at the lack of tartar build up, and the cleaning itself was a breeze. She also commented that I must have used my followup Zoom! application at home because my teeth were still a bright white almost a year after the in office Zoom! treatment. But no, the continued whiteness is just from regularly using the Sonicare Elite toothbrush (with Crest's Rejeuvenating Effects toothpaste, if anyone is interested).
Furthermore, I no longer have any gum bleeding or soreness, my gum lines have stopped receding, and heck, it even helped eliminate some causes of bad breath to boot! (Not saying I had bad breath, mind you... :) But, of course, the main reason to get the Elite is because it will make your teeth cleaner and healthier than they've ever been before.
No, I'll never go back to a manual toothbrush. Even though it's pricey, the Sonicare Elite is easily worth it. If you care about your teeth and want to keep them for the rest of your life, get the Sonicare Elite. I imagine the 7500 will give you similar results to the 7300, so it just comes down to deciding whether or not to spend the extra bucks for some cute lights. Personally, I don't think the LEDs are worth it. Go with the 7300, and you'll never look back. Just make sure to clean it as per the maintenance instructions and you'll be happy with it.
Customer Review: All I can say is... Summary: 4 StarsIf you don't own one of these, you should. I bought the Advance 4700 for my son and I tried it. OH MY!!!! I'm hooked! The only negative was the brush head and handle was considerably larger than the Elite 7300. I see the price has dropped on the 4300 to around $79. A friend has the 7300 and the ergonomic design of the handle and skinner brush head makes it really much more comfortable. But on the other hand, some people like larger things stuck in their mouth, so it that's the case, go for the $20 savings and get the 4300. All I can say is, I want to go brush my teeth right now. You won't be sorry with either!
Customer Review: The only complaint I have is that they don't make one in a travel size. Summary: 5 StarsI love my Sonicare toothbrush. I does a wonderful job cleaning and makes my teeth appear whiter. It is easy to use and easy to charge. The only complaint I have is that they don't make one in a travel size.
Customer Review: I had an older model a while back... Summary: 5 StarsI had an older model a while back, and hated the way it buzzed, and sprayed toothpaste all over the place. It was also awkward, and I gave up and went back to a regular toothbrush. But, then I lost dental insurance, and wanted to be able to keep my teeth cleaner between visits, so started shopping Amazon again. It's so great to be able to read reviews.
I'm really happy with this toothbrush. It's light, and the word "elegant" actually comes to mind. The brush head is much smaller than the old dynosaur I had, and it doesn't buzz as much, and doesn't spray toothpaste around much at all. I haven't reached for "old faithful" since I bought this model.
