I purchased 2 of these for for my wife and I. If I had noticed that there was a model 7500 with 2 power brushes I would have purchased that saving a lot. The model is pricey, but works great and is easier to use than the previous heavier model. One thing that I don't like is that the battery is not replaceable. We previously had the old model and when the battery ran down we had to throw the unit away (after recyling the battery of course). You should be able to replace the rechargeable battery.
The unit is great though.

All I can say is that it works. When you turn it on it vibrates (a lot) which created an intense tickling sensation on the inside of my cheeks and gums. I got used to this after a few days though. So far I'm very pleased with this product.Customer Review: By the next checkup...

I purchased this toothbrush based on my sister-in-law's experience. Two years ago, her gums were in such bad shape, she had been referred to a specialist. On his recommendation, she began to use the Sonicare toothbrush followed by a 60 second Listerine rinse. By the next checkup, her dentist said the problem had been arrested. She waltzes in and out of the dentist now with virtually no plaque, no sign of gum disease and a great smile. Sounded good to me so I bought the toothbrush. I like the thirty-second beeps and 2-minute shut down. Both make me much more conscious of putting in the time to do a thorough job of brushing. Only problem I've encountered is the sound of the toothbrush scares my dog. Customer Review: This is a nice toothbrush and does a good job when the brush heads are new but they get "mushy" rather quickly.

My dentist recommended this product since I had some gum recession. As an extra bonus to helping my gums, my teeth are definitely whiter and shine after brushing. I'm very pleased with this product. It is very expensive as are the replacement heads. The only complaint I have is that when you replace the toothbrush in the charger, it must be seated precisely to charge, otherwise it keeps blinking causing you to return to make sure it's seated correctly. You'd think that this task could have been made easier with all the technology available.
