Been using this brand for nearly a decade. Every year each dentist comments on how great my teeth and my gum lines look. I consistently get 0's and 1's for ratings, whereas before with manual toothbrushes I had been receiving 2's and 1's. This combined with a great total control toothpaste makes the dental hygienists jobs so much easier and dental visits virtually pain free - for both my gums and my wallet. I am not one to floss very much, so I can have quite a bit of build up on my teeth when it comes to my 6-month check-up. A dental hygenist suggested this toothbrush. Now, I get great reviews during my checkups - my teeth are much cleaner. I even had a dentist ask me if I had my teeth whitened - which I haven't. I have had several other styles of electric toothbrushes and this is by far the best of them all. My dentist recommended that I use this brush to improve my receeding gums. In just 2 months I was able to improve the health of my gum tissue and teeth in general. This toothbrush has saved me from having to have expensive and very painful gum surgery. The Sonicare tooth brush is the only way to clean up my teeth. I used a manual tooth brush for a few days until my new Sonicare came. No contest. I use the Sonicare with the timer. I brush a quarter of my teeth with each cycle. I wind up feeling like the teeth are almost as clean as when I go into the dentist for my six month cleaning. I am on the automatic replacement ordering system for the refills and it really helps me to remember to change them. They, of course, work beautifully, and I don't have to remember which refills to buy for the toothbrush model I have. Very pleased with the reordering system and the price offered for being on the system is much better than I can buy them in a local store, plus I don't have to go and get them!!
