Customer Review: Excellent brush for home dental care

I've been using the A-Series Sonicare brush for years and was dismayed when I found the Series A replacement heads were being discontinued. Much to my relief, the Series E heads are now compatible with the Series A bodies. These brush heads always have been expensive -- more than $10 each. Their "suggested service life" is 3 months; I get by using mine for 6 months, thereby cutting the cost in half. Buying the 3-pack minimizes the overall cost.
I was an Army dental hygienist for two years, and I can say without reservation that these are the most effective home care brushes I have found on the market. They are extremely efficient and much faster and effective than regular toothbrushes. I even carry it when I travel, except for backpacking where weight counts. The Series E heads, with their narrower, simpler, angled shape are easier to keep clean and are easier to manipulate and reach difficult areas in the mouth. What you spend on this brush, you may eventually save in dental bills. For the elderly, arthritic, and others with disabilities of the hand, these brushes are a must -- much easier to hold and manipulate than regular toothbrushes.
P.S., The magnets from the used heads make terrific refrigerator magnets -- very strong!
