I recently bought this product through Amazon after having received a sample of the cologne at a retail store. I cannot say or share enough about this cologne and Amazon.com.
First, the cologne: I like colognes and over the years have had very many different favorites. Pi, however, was a fragrance I've not tried until recently. It has a great, distinctive, strong but not too strong scent that exudes a touch of class and sophistication. It's mature but not old - young but not trendy. I had already received very many compliments on it. It's my new favorite already!
Now on to Amazon: GREAT customer service, Amazon! I ordered this product and qualified for super-saving shipping. Honestly, I thought this would protract delivery HOWEVER, I'm amazed at how quickly Amazon got the product to me. I had the product within 3 days of ordering! I've bought a lot of things through various e-tailers, however, Amazon, in my experience, consistently ranks #1 in terms of customer service and price. Great job, Amazon!!!

I am not one to peruse the cologne counters at department stores but I had wanted to see if there were something different available that I might like. Having in the past gone from Polo to Safari to Romance to Polo Blue, I had to urge to look outside of the RL line. It took me about two seconds to buy this one on the spot. There are actually two versions of Pi an aqua color and the gold. The gold has a rather pronounced vanilla scent which is what I think grabbed me. It is not a "take your breath away" scent some colognes have if you hit one squirt too many. My wife loves it. I'll even admit I sprayed one of the bed pillows and a cloth that I left in the car. I also liked another Givenchy item (bottle with large burgundy cap) that to me has a nice cedary smell.Customer Review: Refined masculine cologne

I purchased this scent for my father. My brother, who rarely wears cologne, loved it. I then purchased some for my him.
Pi For Men by Givenchy is a long-lasting, subtle scent with incredible complexity. Such a nice change from many of the "in-your-face" men's colognes. And this is not to say that Pi is not noticeable; it just is refined. Although I am not a man, I spritzed some on my wrist to test it and kept smelling it, happily, all day. It is the scent that I would want on the man that I hug a lot. Having a 15 year old son who has tried countless colognes, and a father who has tried even more, I have to say that Pi is, hands down in my opinion, the best scent for men that I have ever encountered.

My boyfriend is an Engineer and loves math, so I was excited to find Pi cologne. I was hesitant to pay a lot of money for the larger size in case he didn't like the scent, so I was happy to find this smaller and cheaper option. As it turns out, he loves the smell and so do I!! It's sensual but not overly musky like some other colognes. I highly recommend buying this product. If you are unsure of what cologne to get your man and don't want to spend all your money trying to find the right scent, I would suggest purchasing this. It's only a few dollars and smells wonderful. All math lovers will get a kick out of this!

Many men like that musky-over-bearing-should-be-after-shave smelling designer crap. Wrong. Men should wear what women like because guess what? They're the ones that have to smell us.
Givenchy Pi is the best cologne I have worn. I've been wearing for over 5 years now and every time I wear it, I receive compliments.
Why it is definitely a cologne, it's subtle. It lasts long. It's sweet smelling with just a kick of spice to it. In my opinion the best fragrant combination and at a decent price. I want to extend my thinks to the lady at the Lazaraus counter for giving me a tester back in '05.
