Had been using another brand and they kept breaking. I sent them back for refund as per their warranty, and the quality didn't improve. The Pikstik is shorter, but from my wheelchair it is great. The prongs are strong, and wider to get larger cans from the pantry. Seems to be very balanced weight and easy handle. I have only had it a couple of weeks so things may change later, but right now it am very, very happy.

This reacher also has an easy to use rotating head so you can line up the jaws with the handle, or at a 90 degree angle. With the jaws in line with the handle (up and down) it is easy to reach behind things, like your washer or fridge. Simply pull up the head and rotate the jaws and your Pikstik will now pick up objects straight ahead such on shelves. With a bit of practice you will find the best jaw position for your varying needs
