This is the best pill crusher in the world. I have a special needs child who needs a lot of medicines crushed because he can't swallow pills. I have tried many pill crushers which are a pain. This one I love. The grooves are on the outside not inside. I know my son is getting full amount of the powder. With the grooves on the inside the powder is trapped in between the grooves and when shaken not all the powder comes out. Then you need to fight the grooves to get the rest of the powder out. Big pain. I can even use the cup to add water to the mixture to give to my son.
