I bought this herb because my mom has lyme disease and this was one of the herbs reccomended. I had read that it was also very good for flu. It is an extremely bitter herb and some of the bitterness is still tasted in the tablet. I had the flu when it came in and so I took one twice a day and noticed a huge improvement in my symtoms by the second day. It is also said to be anti-malaria.
