Customer Review: Seriously powerful herb.

When I first started reading about Schizandra, it seemed like Grannie's Tonic ... it could help anything! Many of this herb's properties applied to issues that are pertinent to my best athletic performance and overall female health. Personally, homeopathic herbs and supplementation are my first approach to health issues as opposed to running to the doc for a prescription, and so my intense research was underway. First, I would offer that Planetary Herbals is an exceptional manufacturer. With the purchase of any herb, this should be of primary concern in terms of region of the herb acquired, aging, preparation, purity, combinations, dosage, etc.
I am two months into my supply and happy to report VERY positive results. Schizandra claims to be the Fountain of Youthfulness for women as it protects collagen, and balances body moisture. While this may pertain to suppleness of skin, this also pertains to a cellular level where organ function and muscle vitality is nourished. Energy and overall vitality are its claims to fame, I would have to say there are great improvements with both! It is a very powerful herb that should be taken seriously ... please do your research of exactly what results you are looking to attain. According to published reports, long-term use of Schizandra provides greater and ongoing results. I look forward to those.
