Before this mask it was impossible for me to go cold weather running withought extreme discomfort (the cold air would destroy my throat). Now when I run every breath is warm! Notes: you must breath through your mouth if you want the unit to capture the warmth of your breath. It won't work at all if you breath through your nose. Also, it makes breathing a bit more difficult than normal. In a positive light you could just see that as an added feature that'd strengthen your lungs.
