It does a good job of warming up incoming air.
However, I have multiple problems with it:
1. It has a nasty chemical smell to it that burns the lungs. It must be very thoroughly washed before any use.
2. It makes heavy breathing difficult. This mask is therefore not recommended for anything more strenuous than walking.
